Yes to mayo. Not a lot. Just enough. As a binder for cold salads like potato or chicken. But I will spread a little on bread for turkey or BLT sandwich. Again used sparingly.

And only Kraft brand. Most others like Hellman's tastes way too much like boiled egg to me. Way to strong of egg. And I like egg too. Just not anything that gives me the impression that it sat out in the sun for a week before consuming

But I live for mustard and ketchup. I have at least 6 different mustards on the kitchen. Ketchup I'm okay with just the regular Heinz stuff. And Sriracha is a staple for me. Along with many other hot sauce varieties.

No Miracle Whip for me. Or the other disgusting stuff...sandwich spread...*gak!* Growing up as a kid in rural Vermont the real Vermonters would eat that crap on white bread all by itself. Or Miracle Whip and Relish. Basically a tartar sauce sandwich usually accompanied with milk based tomato soup. That was considered a meal....blah. It was awful:shock:

Glad to see the Sriracha fans here. Sriracha (aka cock sauce or rooster sauce) is my second favorite hot sauce after Captain Sorenson's Datil pepper sauce. Good times!

I like mayo...except when I am north of the border and they put both mayo and butter on the sandwich.

I like deviled eggs but more than two and I feel sick from the mayonnaise overload. I use mayo sometimes but not on everything, If I get subway or something I get honey mustard instead.

if I make a tuna sandwich I replace the mayo with ranch dressing.

yes I love mayo, and plenty of it on sandwiches, but chipotle mayo is preferable in most things.

Miracle whip ONLY for egg or tuna sandwiches though. Youre out of miracle whip and you're out of tuna sandwiches and egg sandwiches.

Honey mustard is at least only half mayo:laugh2:

Mayo...?

Yes on toasted tuna, cheese and jalapeños sammich - but only AFTER the toasting.

Yes in coleslaw (piri piri mayo preferred).

Otherwise... No.

cheers

I put mayo on all cold-cut sandwiches. Burgers get ketchup and mayo if they have bacon, ketchup and mustard if no bacon. I never put mayo on french fries, they usually get ketchup or sometimes BBQ sauce depending on what they are paired with. Lots of mayo in cole slaw. I add mayo to a cheesesteak sandwich, it's great when the mayo blends into the cheese.

I gotta stop reading these food threads

A former roommate "cooked" one night.. Fettuccini noodles and ranch dressing. I about puked, at the thought, didn't eat. Watched him endulge instead while I settled for beer.
