Max Baranet - The End Of An Era

What I like to know is how is one able to get a hold of 50+ year old wood, especially good size chunks of them to build guitars with? It isn't like you can go to a wood shop and pick it up and ask, "Hey you got any wood from the 1950's?"

I know the thread is old ,but why didn't anyone tell him to just go to Brazil and get it . It's not that difficult once your there. And yes I've seen older BRW "just laying around" under stacks of other types of wood that was ~ forgot about . In Brazil it's not a really big thing to them . Depending on whom you ask

I know this thread is (obviously) quite old but does anyone have any idea where I can watch/find/buy the Movie referenced in this thread and online but seemingly unavailable anywhere? I would (of course) love to watch it for free but I will certainly buy it if necessary.
