Wow. You guys have some great looking Les Paul's. It like taking a trip to Marks guitar loft. I swear I've played a few of these over the years. How many came from Marks?
The Burbon Burst I have came from Eddies, but my next one will probably come from Marks Guitar Loft (as soon as I sell my PRS).

A bit of a cheat as this one's not actually in BOTB, but is a well known 1959...the Skinner Burst, 9 1951 (Bonamassa owns this one now, too. He's up to 4 now, right?!)

Hereby my Paul Kossoff 1959 aged process by Tom Murphy......BTW is for sale in case someone is interested.....Cheers!
I don't why anyone would want these guitars with fake worn spots and scratches etc. I do get the light finishes. If you want scars leave it out of the case and play the crap out of it. If you want a museum piece save up 250k and go to the auction. Its like paying 10 grand for good copy of the Mona Lisa. No offense, I just don't get it. Guitars are for playing music. If it is copy even a good one won't ever be worth what they want.:hmm:

My old 1991 Classic looks remarkably similar to this original 1960 burst

BOTB p. 121

My new Kindred burst R8 looks a bit like a couple of the "darker" darkbursts in BOTB.

Although its got more figuring than the one on p.121, the even quarter sawn grain (particularly on the upper half) is very similar. The very dark burgundy is also similar. My photos possibly aren't great for comparison but here they are.

Hi all.
I searched the internet over and couldn't find a match to my R8.
If anyone out there can find the true one my guitar resembles I would really appreciate it.

Took this with the iphone camera.

And this one with a Nikon.
