River, Mr. Boombotz (he's self conscious about his weight, he doesn't like to be called Big Vinny to his face, so watch out) says theres nothing in the rulebook regarding your choice, but he wants you to know he's got his eye on you...
Hey - it's all SoloDallas' fault!

The guy that chose the JBL, are you after a more Van Halen sound? Eddie is the only one I remember using the JBL speakers exclusively. Couple JCM800, thats pretty straightforward. :dude:

I didn't know EVH used them, for me, think Allman Bros Band.

JMP 2203 100 watt Master Volume (earliest one I could find). Early 70s 1960A. If I had to give up all the rest of my Marshalls, that's what I'd hang onto. I can mod them to do all music styles, and they do classic rock better than anything.

Best Marshall I ever owned was a Hiwatt. Come and get some, Vinny! :laugh2:

If they were the only amps left on Earth, I'd go for the 1974x or JTM 45 combo.

Got a Ceriatone JTM45 clone, with some upgrades. Sounds killer, but if you're after a more modern punch, it wouldn't be quite right, although one can get there by adding a pedal or two.

Lotta votes for JCM 800...without specifying an actual model??? JCM 800 is NOT an amp model, more like an era,or series.2203,2204,2205,2210,1959,1987 etc...are models, all of which made under the JCM800 name.Kinda like saying...a JMP.:applause:

So I vote for...you got it...a JMP :laugh2:

A mid 70's JMP 1987x or a JCM 800 2203
But if I wanted a Master Volume(which I prefer for my current situation) I would get a mid 70's JMP 2204

All with the JMP's corresponding cab

I'd go for the 1974x or JTM 45 combo.

we are thinking alike, in some ways I like the 1974x a bit more and in other ways I like the bluesbreaker amp a bit more (jtm 45 combo)....I wonder if it comes down to the 1974x combo(s) I played all had 1x12 vrs the 2x12 in a bluesbreaker....

I own a bluesbreaker but, that has to do more with the price of the 1974x (which I spent many hours playing at different stores over a couple of years, wishing I had the money for one)...then again I am very happy with what I have so?
