Hello all,
I was thinking if this is the right way, using two speaker cable to connect my Marshall silver jubilee mini head to my Marshall 2536 Silver Jubilee 2x12" cabinet, if i want to run the amp in "16 ohm mode" for both speaker for my silver jubilee cab. because if i use only one cable, it run amp in 8ohm mode anyway. See the picture..

Since your cab is stereo, the two speakers are wired separately,
one input jack being connected to one speaker,
therefore the speaker's resistance don't add or split. Each one is 16 ohms.
The amp outs are designed to match many cabs configuration.
The 2 X 16 is the one to match what you have in your cab, two speakers at 16 ohms each.

If you were to plug only one speaker, then you would have to use the 1 X 16 amp output
as the one speaker you would use is rated at 16.

The amp is not running in 16 ohms using this method. It's still running at 8 ohms. Might as well just use one speaker cable into the mono 8 jack on the cab.

Thanks for answers guys!
I just ask because i was not sure if this connections can lead problems..
To me, at "home volume level", i like the amp sounds better when i connect it with two cable 16ohm x 16ohm..
I dont know why :cool2:
