So, the NYT yesterday (and several other bum-blankets, days before) have run articles concerning "mankeeping"; the social activity of women tasked with tending the male perspective , , feelings, thoughts, etc.

Evidently, this is a tiresome burden.

Not so when men are called to tend the emotional garden of women, of course. But according to articles, women are finding it "tiresome". A "chore", they say. I'd link the articles, but there's a pay wall.

Every thing with "man" in front of it is bad. Man-splaining, man-spreading, bro-this, bro-that..

But as comedian Joe DiVito notes, "except when things get tough. Then they tell you to "man-up".

Ain't that the truth.

I thought it would be about men trimming their junk.
Oh... wait!
That would be Manscaping.
My bad.

Like trimmin' that shit to look like alien crop-circles.

Kinda like what they did to edro. I took him out for a beer one night, and he wound up and sang like a bird.. Told me all kinds of things they done did to him..

LOL On the other hand, if the dude is one of those "strong silent types" you know what they do?

They whine that he's "emotionally inaccessible"!

Eh, I wouldn't have read it anyway... ;)

Every thing with "man" in front of it is bad. Man-splaining, man-spreading, bro-this, bro-that..

Same shit, different decade...

Bitch, bitch, bitch-- and meanwhile, act as if there's no such thing as rude, self-absorbed, greedy-ass, dishonest, narcissistic, neurotic, antisocial, shithead females in this world... let alone untold numbers of such persons. :p

Nope! It's only men who are like that. And it's ALL men, not just a certain percentage of 'em.

"If One, Then All" Always my favorite way of determining whether I'm talking to an idiot or not, to note if that's how their thought processes tend to run. And that's whether they're male or female, lots of idiots on either side.

But as comedian Joe DiVito notes, "except when things get tough. Then they tell you to "man-up".

Oh hell yeah: when the going gets tough, you get going. :laugh2:

And they'll give you their opinion of your work while they watch.
