So about this time last year I decided I was going to try making my own tobacco pipe.
Some of you know from previous conversations/threads that I'm a cigar smoker and I smoke a pipe now and then as well.
I found a kit online and for my first pipe used it.
Since last year I've made a few more pipes and gathered some tools and feel I'm improving little by little and as I get better tools for the job.
I haven't yet tried making my own stems but, I hope to try that soon.
Anybody else here ever try this? Any pipe smokers here? I know there are cigar smokers.

I've attached a few pics of some of my stuff...

Very cool! I have a small and very humble pipe collection and smoke regularly-ish, but have never made my own.
Don’t know that I will, no time for another hobby/project.
Those are unreal, though!

Thanks man.
You should give it a try. Go all hand tools like my first one. The kit was from "Man Crates".

I think my favourite so far was the Natural Freehand.
Working on another green billiard right now and a poker as well.
I've got a few ideas for future pipes too.

I've actually sold a handful of those smaller "noseburner" style as I call them, now that certain things are legal here.
Sold a few of the tobacco ones as well to guys on the forums and whatnot.

Finished this one up last night.
I'm really enjoying doing this. Feels good to work with tools and make something. Seeing my work and it's results.
