Made for each other - NGD R8

Just had to share some pix of my '05 R8. Got it from Kevin here on the forum. He lives local, so worked out great. I was able to check it out in person and verify everything was legit. I'm not exacltly sure what to call the finish. I think he advertised it as Tobacco, but could be called a Bourbon 'burst or even Tea. Anyways I think it's awesome, and actually shows a hint of figuring in the right light. More importantly it feels and sounds great, especially through the rig sitting behind it in these pix. Here's what was done to the guitar by previous owner:
-Double white OX4 pickups (7.7 and 8.6k)
-Throbak covers
-Throbak M69 rings
-Retrospec poker chip and heavy knurl switch nut
-Mojoaxe pickguard
-Pigtail steel tailpiece studs
-RS Guitarworks Kluson tuners
-RS Guitarworks wiring harness
The neck feels incredible, and seems to fill the hand even more than my R6. I love the pickups, and look forward to trying it with all the amps in my arsenal.

HNGD , Looks great . You could call Gibson and get the Color it was made as giving them the serial # ... and know 100% . Agree, in that Bright Sunlight it could be any of those Shades . Still , It looks fine . And I like the 2005's from that year ...
