I am wanting a good, sharp, already set up plane to start doing my headstock faces.
Decided I'm going to learn more about electric guitars by trying to get my Epi Les Paul to sound and play better. I have a Custom "Black Beauty" and need tools and materials to build a new nut level and crown the frets, and replace the pickups. Vague I know, but I'm hoping this is a good place to start.
There you go... by one of the many "gods" of luthiery on this forum, Roman.
And to tack on a request, does anyone happen to have a roughly finished maple neck or could make one for a poor Epiphone Les Paul? (and it's one of those offset short tenon joint abominations) I'm planning to completely rebuild mine and the neck on it is busted up and after doing some intense research on re-necking one, that's all I really need. That guitar was the very reason I joined here something like 5-6 years back and now, being a mature and more clear-minded man of guitar-tech and luthiery knoledge, I really want to bring her back from the dead and start rocking with it again.
