I got mine price adjusted yesterday at the local store. I am still waiting for my Desert Burst to ship but at least I have it at the right price now!

I went in yesterday to see what Trad Pros they had. The only had the cherry sunburst, which isn't my thing, but I got a desert burst price adjusted from Musicians Friend. Still on back order but they have agreed to honor the price.

And a bit disturbing. Mine's already paid for, but was defective. They've been telling me they would get more in stock by early or mid December (there's supposed to be a shipment coming). I hope they really are getting them since I already shipped mine back...

Ya, I've seen this before. Hopefully they'll still get some in. Last time this happened to me it was an amp and I never got one.

ER, I'm also very happy with mine and it's stays nearby in case I get the itch.

Mine is still stuck in processing even though they said I definitely have one that is in their warehouse that they received last Thursday, not thanksgiving. I am guessing the holiday week just delayed some shipments. I emailed them and they said I should have it this week.

Well, I couldn't resist. I had that very guitar a couple of years ago and didn't hang on to it. It was a deal at $350 then, this is a steal. The one I had before was a stunner, beautiful top.

Those guitars are awesome., I got a used one from GC last December. Gold top. I blacked it out with pu rings pick guard and poker chip. Slapped a Bigsby on it and it's my best player!

During the sale, the item description said "Out of stock. Will ship 1-7-16." So evidently they're at least getting enough to fill existing orders.

And I called this morning to verify that. I was told that they have several on order - enough to fill the existing orders.

I just hope the next one I get isn't damaged or defective (again) and looks as good as or better than the one I got originally. I've got my fingers crossed...

So long story but I ordered the Desert Burst on the 20th, 44 were supposed to be in the warehouse then with 20 spoken for but it was supposed to ship thanksgiving week. It did not ship and still had not shipped by last night. Called customer service number and they told me they didn't have any in but I should get it for the shipment coming on this Saturday (December 5th).

Decided to go to GC today see if the person I spoke with could get more information about it since the person last night didn't seem really confident. As I am there, I receive an email that they need to cancel my order since they will not be receiving anymore in. Guy at the store calls and the person he spoke with confirms what he said but I need to call customer service myself to get a refund issued or see if one can be transferred from another store.

So I call while in the store and that person says that they will be getting another shipment in December 28th. So I would be looking at almost next year till I get a Desert Burst Trad Pro.

While this is going on, the sales person talks with his manager about a Desert Burst Standard Plustop Pro they do have in stock and giving me that for the black friday promotion price instead. To the end the story, I now am the proud owner of a Standard Plustop Pro in Desert Burst!

I'll have to do a NGD post later tonight when I am not at work and can take some really good photos of it.

Ordered mine 11/29 for $299 with delivery stated "Reserve now - Ships 01-07-2016". I was told the were 2 more shipments coming with more than enough to cover backorders.
Delivered on Tuesday the 29th. Will report on it when I give it a thorough going over.
