LP studio 1993 - what pups are in it?

I have an LP studio from 1993 - I know that new studios have 490R and 498T pups in them. Are they the ones also in mine from 1993 ?

I believe so, yes. My step-cousin's '95 has that same combo, so it stands to reason.

im pretty sure they are 490r and 490t.

Certainly had 490R and 490T in 1994/5. I remember changing a few sets for Classic 57s. Quite like the old 490s, they sound OK. Can't rememeber if they were waxed back then, but unless you play quite loud you'll never notice.

Yes they are 490r 498t in my 91 studio.
