I got this on a trade from a member here(no names) as a husk.
This is NOT a Gibson.
I`m not sure which "kit" it started out as but not one of the cheap ones.
Nitro finish light honey colored very mild(more of a figured plaintop) flame top.
Open book headstock. No name on headstock.
The neck is a large 60/small 59 type.
Already has a nut installed as well as anchor bushings for the tail piece.
I bought all the parts and gave it to my tech/luthier to complete for me.
I went to pick it up and he decided to not finish it.
His reason is that in his professional opinion, it has a back bow that can be corrected but at a cost of about $300.
Leveling the board(with fret job), replacing rod, or resetting the neck.
Each of these will help but he wasn`t sure which he would do until he started, but he said about $300 ballpark.
It can be set up for slide and be played now.
I am not willing to put that much into this(I have 2 other Les Pauls).

PM me a number to text to and I will send photos.
I also have all of the parts I bought for it and will list them for sale in another thread.
I am looking to get $450 shipped/paypaled OBO(TRY ME)
Cash/trade combo encouraged.. If you want an SKB TSA 002 case I have one for an additional $70.
This is sold as is, no returns. I have stated what it needs.
Amateur luthiers this has your name on it.

Trade wise, ........whatcha got?
Small tube amps?
Decent acoustic(Yamaha, Guild, Blueridge)?
Electric wise, something with P90s?
SG?
Explorer type?
a great strat?
I`m open to suggestions.

*******Price drop...$350******

Grover tuners, Mojotone humbuckers, Lightweight aged tailpiece(don`t remember brand, but quality), ABR bridge with brass saddles(don`t remember brand, but quality), Toneman Blues harness/jack/switch) are all on the guitar and can be included for additional charge before I part them out.
Also have a rosewood face plate for the headstock(blank).
Also unopened back covers(brown).
I`m open to suggestions.

Please ask ANY questions you`d like. I want to be completely upfront about this. It can be a great guitar with a little work.

I would bet a dollar to a doughnut that the backbow can be corrected.
Probably pull all the fret wire, clean the slots and use a fretwire with the approriate sizes tang. I think the tang is too thick and the slots were too narrow and have alot to do with the backbow. I have made that mistake myself . Without refret and after about two years of it acclimatizing in humid conditions with heavy strings tuned sharp and a loose trusd rod it is finally is spot on with 9 gauge strings and a just enough truss tension.
At the minimum just a little massage, and I think this git could be a good come up.
Worst case would be a refret and you could also get a chance to practice proper fret end binding too!
If I only had less projects , more time and extra dough, I would pull the trigger.

Make a legit trade or cash offer.
You might be surprised.
