Careful, the Stewmac ones are poor quality, some of the Kluson Branded ones have 6 mm shafts. Allparts do a nice 1/4" shaft "3-a-side" tuner set.

Check shaft diameters before buying. 1/4" eyelet type bushings are a bit thin on the ground at the moment.

I've had real good luck with RS in the past. WD owns Kluson (IIRC) and I got a bad set from them once. RS sends the bad ones back before they reach the consumer...I like that.

Beware...the brown Kiwi shoe polish can turn the tuners PINK! At least, that's what happened to me. Weird. Anyone else have this happen?

+1 on the RS tuners. I've got a set on my 1957 Junior. They work well and look like they've been on there for that past 52 years.
