Is the statement below true about the neck running all the way to the bridge?


"1998 Gibson Les Paul DC Studio The DC Studio is actually an archtop design, with a neck that runs all the way to the bridge, surrounded by a hollowed out mahogany body."

Also can someone tell me the thickness of the mahogany in both the Les Paul Standard etc and the Double Cutaways.

Best place to ask would be the luthiers section of the forum, they'll most likely have exact measurements for their builds

I don't think so either but it certainly would strengthen that neck joint.
