I can empathize: I lost one of my brothers just six months ago. He was my closest friend as a child, and we lived together for a few years in our 20s.

I can't say it stops hurting, at least not so far, but does become less acute.

Thank you all so very much, you've no idea how overwhelming your support has been and how much I appreciate. This is easily the hardest thing I have ever had to endure.

Thought I would share a few pictures from the last time our families got together. We'd seen each other many times since these were taken, but this was the last time all of our children were there, too.

Watched Cain's perfect game on On Demand this morning. Pretty cool to see, but not really as into it as i would otherwise have been.
