They own "Lightning" as well :hmm: Maybe the creator shares the same affinity for planes as Bill.

"Armstrong Corsair" has a nice ring to it

Cool WW2 history behind that plane. It was a pretty wicked fighter in it's day. My uncle flew Corsairs for the Navy in the Korean War.

How about Phantom? The F4 is still one of my favorite military fighters.

Or the Tomcat - who doesn't love the F14? Well, besides those who went up against it. :D

F-14 makes the most sense wattage wise;)

My first Armstrong Guitar being built currently is called the Phantom after the famous F-4, amazing jet with tons of history behind it.

Sweetwood guitars is the official builder of the Phantom model.

My Mach 4 bass design is currently being built in Ohio by Cavey's Clubs...

Tomcat sounds cool to me!:dude:

Those and their little MG cars are two things they got right. I like the MGF.

Beer as well. And Aston Martins.

Booze! There's a thought. Naming amps after booze. Stella Artois would be my go-to daily player, Pinot Nois for the ladies and Lagavulin for something special on Saturdays. Or better still, A Highland Park 18.

I will ask Randy what he thinks we should use for that particular amp and get back with you...
