Does anyone know where I can find a Rhoads pickguard? I just scored a '74 LP Custom that was white but has since turned canary yellow! Its got custom Rhoads written all over it. Any help locating a RR PG would be surely appreciated :fingersx:

What is the difference between the stock pickguard and a "Randy Rhoads pickguard" ?

The only diff is that Randy's name is engraved in to it. I guess I could always take it to a trophy shop and have it engraved. Just thought there might be some exact replicas out there

Yea I decided it would be best to just keep it all original. Thanks!

im sure you could buy a pickguard then have that engraved... might cost you more money but i guess its better than using the original one

the pickguard you are thinking of came on the BURNY RR model. a Japanese made guitar from the early 80's.

I think he's thinking of matching the real one, not a Burny

You'll never get SlashTone with a Rhoads pickguard...

I think there might have been a one off or something earlier, but production started in '74.

Just get another pickguard (to keep the original intact) and have a trophy shop engrave the name on it. A trophy shop did Randy's.
