I'll wait till all the "hoopla " wears off and pick one up for half or less .

The guitar is well-worth the original $899. And if it has a really nice top, it's should get a bit more. If you can get one under the original price, I'd grab it.

Mine is prob right around 8.5-9 pounds not too bad. Unless you got a really heavy one it shouldn't be too bad... I kinda like the heavy ones but hey....

Had it in my cart yesterday but now just isn't a good time. Lightning hit our well pump last Friday afternoon and we just got water back on today. Gonna be sorta costly so maybe in the future...? That and the new Amos equals better wait.

Am tempted to grab to try and return but feel like that's disengenuous.

Yeah not to rub it in man BUT you prob should have grabbed that guitar!! I am sure there will be more to be had. Just gotta keep an eye out....

The fact that it sat there for that many days at that price makes me feel bad for all those people who have been trying to sell them on Reverb for $1200 and up. I just don’t think people are willing to pay above a certain dollar amount for that guitar. I had one early on that I bought directly from Joe‘s website. I almost bought a second one at a time, thinking I would flip it for profit. Since then, I decided it was good that I didn’t do that.

Musician Friend took their Lazarus page down for a few days and now have it back up . Instead of saying " backordered " ... it's now out of stock ....More on the way . FWIW

If it was purchased online they probably wouldn't have even received it yet.

Most likely scenario is it was purchased in the store. Buyer immediately returned it because of buyers remorse or it's a turd.

I’m a bit late to the game, but this thread has brought me up to speed. After seeing Joe play in Syracuse back in March, I became interested in finding one of these. I recently placed an order on GC site, and was notified that the guitar was back ordered. I figured I would wait and see what happened.
Then, while visiting my local GC I spotted a ‘59 standard setup in Lemon burst (at first I thought it was a Lazarus). Bought it on the spot, (899$ Plus 10% off!) Thought I would take the Lazarus as well if it actually existed. After waiting a few days more I cancelled my online order.
Very happy with my purchase.
