I LOVE a good live lp. Bitch is, by the time each track is produced, remixed, eq'ed, edited from last nights performance, it's no longer a live lp. More like, "recorded live in front of a studio audience".
That being said, my fav live lp are:
Live In the Air Age, Be Bop Deluxe
Big World, Joe Jackson
Live in New York, Nektar
Genesis Live, Genesis
Seconds Out, Genesis

Some of my favorites are live albums
Clapton Unplugged
John Mayer Live in LA - especially the trio parts
Rolling Stones- No Security (bit of a compilation from the tour)
Have a lot of live recorded songs from Zeppelin
Also love watching/listening to some old crossroads festival recordings

ABB at Fillmore East. My all-time favorite. If you're into jazz, there's Smokin' at the Half Note, by the Wynton Kelly Trio featuring Wes Montgomery. Hard to find but definitely worth it.
One of my favorite Wes (WK) albums! "Full House" is another good one and then of course, there's Kenny Burrell's Village Vanguard albums, along with "Live at the Downtown Room".

I love live albums, but for some bands like Led Zeppelin, there isn't nearly enough official live material so I've had to resort to bootlegs. This is one of my favorites.

The problem with Led Zeppelin official live albums is copy and paste/editing. How The West was Won and The Song Remains the Same just have to many cuts and edits for my taste. Blueberry Hill, Listen To This, Eddie Royal Albert Hall 1970 and For Badgeholders Only prove how great live Zep really was when they were firing on all cylinders.
