Can anyone help me get my little pic to show up on my posts (on the far left under my userid)? It appears when I'm looking at my profile, but when I take a look at any of my posts on any threads...nada!

"Upload of file failed" is the message I'm getting. The file size is 29kb.

I'm sure I'm doing something silly, but can't figure out what it is!

Thanks folks! It is showing now.

Actually, it was a '91. I've owned well over 300 guitars (including 16 Gibson Les Pauls) in my life and it was by leaps and bounds the best sounding guitar I've ever heard.

Yes, your avatar fine!

How often to you switch guitars with having owned 300+? Do you spend more time shopping than playing? If it was the best 'by leaps and bounds' why did you get rid of it? What are you playing now instead?

Good directions Thump..

Anyway, welcome to the forum!

...How often to you switch guitars with having owned 300+? ...

Back during university, I sometimes would go through 3-4 guitars in a weekend - just trading up. I went from ESP Horizon to Les Paul Custom (even trade). Sold the Les Paul Custom and used 1/2 the funds to buy a Hamer Steve Stevens, then traded that back for my ESP (even trade). Netted over $500 - I was a sneaky bastard then.

...Do you spend more time shopping than playing...

I used to. I play more now though. The shopping/trading/flipping got a bit stressful a few years back.

...If it was the best 'by leaps and bounds' why did you get rid of it? ...

Money. I needed to pay off some debt and someone made me an offer that was decent (which is rare in this economic environment we're in).

...What are you playing now instead?

I've got a nice Baker 'Flaming Kayne' - Gene only made 3 of them. However, believe it or not, the guitar I play the most is my Jackson Dinky.

...

Hahahahaha, thanks. I've actually been a member here longer than you. I just don't get a chance to post much.
