Little crack on binding glue, should I be concerned?

People pay big money to have renowned crafstmen ding up their guitars like that on purpose. Not me, but I don't fret over a chip in binding. That's what it's there for, to take the damage so the wood doesn't get it.

Gibson nitros over binding so the nitro came off i think

Many thanks!! There are two spots on the guitar like that. It never went against anything...

From a stability standpoint, it's no big deal, but it doesn't look like a huge area, so if you're really that worried about it, a touch-up shouldn't be that difficult.

it had to hit something cause its not a crack but it looks like it hit something and a peice of nitro blew out.

I think there was extra glue on those two spots.

Holy crap, glad someone sorted this out quick! :wow:

I've seen guitars completely vaporize only seconds after showing this kind of 'warning crack'. I'm just glad everyone seems to have come out the other side ok this time.

GIRLS!!!!

It's a ding, the clear finish came off and it's easily fixed.

Just like i said the nitro coat came off and now its down to the bare plastic binding.It had to hit something.It could have came that way from the factory,if you didnt do it.good luck,you should send it to Greg!
