There are open back tuners, plus anything of the vintage type kluson design will be light.

The KLUSON Revolution look very interestig.

Nice vintage style, 1/19 ratio and those tuners are light. Any advice is welcome

Jungle,
I've got a set of those non locking Revolutions with chrome knobs on an SG and they are great. Don't know if they are lighter than the Gibson Deluxe tuners I took off but I got them for the 19:1 ratio, not the weight.

Light weight tuners do compensate for head dive a bit, particularly if you're replacing heavy Grovers. Most other vintage-looking heads are a bit lighter than Grovers--not all that much--and mostly about the same weight. At least that's what I found on the manufacturers' websites, that often list weights. If you don't care about visuals, there are some super-light heads out there, but they have a distinctive look (non-traditional buttons). You can also replace metal buttons with lighter plastic. On my SG (which is vintage) I went to lighter machines for balance reasons, but wehile that worked, I missed the look of the worn original gold Rotomatics, and so I put them back on and added some weight in the control cavity, which did the trick better than the lighter machines anyway. And the overall guitar is still quite light.
