I think it looks great, it doesn’t quite look factory uniform, but when you think about the age of these, it seems reasonable to see wear or fading approximating the slight unevenness, at least to my layman eyes.

Did you put some clear coat over it to protect the paint?

Looks like you invested some time in it.

nope... i used regular photographic paper so i guess pantone is smudge free now... i can add a layer of clear tape tho. just for the sake of it

its a nice idea... maybe ill try that !
Try taking your print to a trophy maker. Get a few made and sell them to recoup.

I don’t imagine local engravers are having too much to do these days.

These tags were reissued a few years ago. Don’t remember exactly where you could get them but remember seeing them. Should have picked up a few. In the past I’ve actually purchased some beat up violin cases to get the badge and some hardware from. There must be several people doing this now because the cases have gone up in price. I believe as long as the R series guitars are popular these tags would be desirable.
