Ha ha - thanks Actinic - never ceases to amaze me how many people have never worked out that an ordinary guitar through a great amp is fully capable of producing great tone, but the best guitar ever made through a Squier 15 watt practice amp sounds like ...... a Squier 15 watt practice amp!

I'm not huge on vintage amps, but I can 100% certify that any guitar, vintage, modern, exceptional, ordinary sounds pretty stellar through a Mesa Lonestar Special! A 53 Goldtop through that beast is just heaven!

Just smokes all my other 12 electrics which include Gibson and fender reissues.
No confirmation bias :laugh2: or B.S heard when this plays.:applause:

she´s 23 yo (like my girlfriends) so just a youngtimer. but in 7 years she´ll be finally an oldtimer and therefore VINTAGEEEE YEEEAAHHH :thumb: and then i´ll sell her for like 30K

Hi Rodmac, I recognize the 54 goldop, (it's an all-gold if it's the one I think it is) but the PAF equipped goldtop, is that a conversion?
