Both look great! Do you have a Standard to compare them to? I've always been curious about a Trib...2018 Vintage Sunburst Studio and 2017 Honeyburst Tribute - my 2 favourites

You did goodThe LP that gets the most attention these days is the 2019 Standard 60's. Went looking for a Bourbon Burst and found this. View attachment 621692
I don’t have a Standard, but my 2 Traditional’s compare very well to a standard, and my tribute plays just as well with the same amount of bite, just no binding or gloss finish, but my tribute’s maple cap looks a bit like the binding found on the higher dollar models..Both look great! I've never had a Standard, though I did have a very nice 2018 Classic, obviously looks and feel wise there are differences as the Classic came with a much heavier nitro finish, full binding etc. The Studio feels the closest with its neck binding and gloss finish. The Tributes (I have a 2018 Goldtop also) feel different with the satin finish but playability and sound wise are superb and I don't see them as any 'lesser' of a Les Paul. I love the stripped down charm of them. Both look great! Do you have a Standard to compare them to? I've always been curious about a Trib...
I had to sell off all my gear in 2020. I had a 2012 LP Classic Custom I had modded to look like the full spec custom.
Last week I finally managed to achieve a goal from 1998 and got myself a real Custom. It's the new 2022 70th anniversary Custom and my god I thought my Classic Custom was heavy!
