Not all of us might agree, but I find guitars with finishing checking (both heavy and light, natural or hand done) can be extremely beautiful. As a tribute to the beauty that comes with age, share your pictures of finish checking!

The other name for "checking" is "finish damage".........

Yeah, many old guitars have it, and I'm glad you like yours - but it means someone, at some point in its history, didn't care for it properly.
