#1 a 1955 LP Blacktop


and just for fun #2 a 2010 LP R5 Alnico Wraptail with a set of orig. 1956 pickups (next to an early 60ies Magnatone 214 Tonemaster and an Isle of Tone Haze67Fuzz with 60ies Newmarket NKT275 - for Gearnerds)

On the right is #1 with a bullet. ‘01 Classic Premium Plus. I’ve owned a half dozen or so Historics, but this one beats them all. Perfect neck (not too skinny, despite the model’s reputation, they fattened them up slightly over the years), incredible flame, perfect tone with DiMarzio 36ths.

Thanks! In this case i may should notice that the pickups are from 1956 taken out many years ago to to convert the LP to 57 sepcs

Love those make shift guitar stands (the wall and with an expensive Gibson SG no less). Been there done that and looking back it think, what the hell was I thinking! Didn’t even think that if that guitar slides off the wall it is more than likely a broken headstock. Yeah, those were the days. LOL
