Unbelievable idiocy in Washington. Apparently we can hunt humans with large magazine guns. Who knew?

Legal Expert Dianne Feinstein: It Should be Illegal to 'Hunt Humans' | Independent Journal Review

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypHaYAv_EEw&feature=player_embedded"]Feinstein :Legal to Hunt Humans - YouTube[/ame]

This is Feinstein’s quote:
The time has come, America, to step up and ban these weapons. The other very important part of this bill is to ban large capacity ammunition feeding devices, those that hold more than 10 rounds. We have federal regulations and state laws that prohibit hunting ducks with more than three rounds. And yet it’s legal to hunt humans with 15-round, 30-round, even 150-round magazines. Limiting magazine capacity is critical because it is when a criminal, a drug dealer, a deranged individual has to pause to change magazines and reload that the police or brave bystanders have the opportunity to take that individual down.”

not sure if you're looking for attention or truly misunderstanding the point being made.

I'll ignore the personal attack in the first part of the post.

Addressing your second point, it wasn't something she accidentally said. She was reading from a script. It was an idiotic statement.

Although idiotic, I think the real idiot thing is her belief that if a law is passed to keep ammo magazines under 10 rounds, criminals will abide, as shown in her statement: "Limiting magazine capacity is critical because it is when a criminal, a drug dealer, a deranged individual has to pause to change magazines and reload..."

this is why i said what i said: your thread title and first statement seems to indicate that you think she honestly believes hunting humans is legal. so it seems like you are twisting her words for attention.

i think it's clear to anyone reading or listening that she was using rhetoric to describe how some with large capacity magazines use/d these things. do you now understand her point? do you now understand how it looks like you're trying to get attention? i refuse to believe that her point was lost on you... whether you agree with it or not.

I thought that it was a funny clip and a good discussion point. I am anonymous, as are you. I don't see how "personal attention" comes into play. Heck, you could say that about just about any posts on here. Most is a rehash of news. "Oh, look what's on Drudge/Huffpo. Let me post a link before someone else does."

I have a wife, kids, clients, friends, etc. Heck, with kids alone I get more attention than I can handle in a day. If you have kids, you know what I'm talking about. :)

Peace!

You know what I take away from it? She's so stupid she doesn't realize that the laws against murder bar the hunting of humans.

Why a politician that colossally stupid is newsworthy escapes me, though.

a hole is negative space, so essentially any empty bucket could be one... the more you know.

again, i think her point is being misunderstood. please read the quote and try to understand the rhetoric.

She has plenty of "negative space" between her ears.

derp, edit: said something false.

ROFLMAO - Your comment said something to the effect of "I wish people would read before they post. She is not a politician." Perhaps you should heed your own advice??!

So the real question is if a person hell bent on killing as many people as they can needs to stop and reload because of this law will that actually happen because of this law? Would that law give people the chance to stop that kind of rampage during the reload? Isn't that what she's talking about here? Film at 11.

right... and did you see how quickly i fixed it? who's attacking who now? i admitted i made a mistake because the article in your link described her as a "legal expert", so i was like "hey, that's not a politician", and posted before i actually looked it up. but whatever, cling to whatever you can get on me.

Yes, it does. But that is a point that will be lost.
