Hey guys, I’ve not seen much posted about this awesome range of guitars from Epiphone In years. I am just wondering who here still owns and plays them? I’ve got three still: -3 Sheraton, 06 Casino and 06 Broadway. These are great guitars and it’s a shame they stopped making them all those years!

I’ve owned 2 elitist LPs, a Byrdland, a dot and a Sheraton, but have sold all except for the last two. I wish they’d bring the elitists back, but I’d even be happy if they just added a Sheraton, Riviera, and Broadway to their USA lineup. Or maybe if they had a premium line made in China? Thinner finishes and better woods etc

Well hell ya! Thanks for sharing! I’ve owned a few as well. I had an Elitist LP + in Cherryburst, a Tak Matsumoto, Red Dot and Sunburst Byrdland. I wound up getting a Gibson ES 335 and an R6 and R9 so I really just felt I didn’t need all of those filling similar flavors. I prefer the bigger body jazz boxes so that’s why I let the Byrd go too.

My Elitist Broadway is the best guitar I own, and beats lots of much more expensive guitars I've played. I replaced the white carousel knobs with gold bell knobs, but don't have any pics of that yet.

That is a beauty for sure!! I’ve toyed with the idea of replacing the knobs too but they are also very unique. Where else do you see them?

Nice! Those Japan factories are really excellent.

I have an early Elite Custom that I'm in the process of restoring. Still waiting for a new bridge/tailpiece and Bareknuckle pickup.

I have an `02 Elite Casino! Every bit as good as the original Casino's and ES-330's I've played. The Terada Factory in Japan makes some great guitars! They do all of the Pro Line new Gretsch Guitars and have since 1989. Alot of their work is all hand done. I've seen video's of the factory and it's pretty nice, as good as the original Gibson/Kalamazoo factory and the Gretsch/Brooklyn factory!

I have an 05 Elitist LP. I think they're really nice guitars. I'd like have one of the ES 335's.

Not an elite/elitist, but close enough. If you can’t tell, I like 335 style guitars
