Funny how tastes change... When I first saw JRA's blue bass boat Deluxe waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back I thought 'what in the stem winding hell....' Didn't see many non-trad finishes back then....certainly not on a Gib....

Anything goes now....

except a Zoot....

Some great looking Lesters!

I’m a sucker for blue guitars. Dunno why, I think I just like blue!

Particularly like Pelham and Chicago Blue but Darrell’s Caribbean Blue studio ain’t so ugly either!
;)

Raidersfan’s Blue Swirl has just a stunning finish — love it!

I have quite a big birthday coming up in just over a year and I’m rather tempted to make plans for getting one of these beauties:

Like I said, I just rather like blue guitars!

Oh, and it’ll also be a rather nice acoustic partner for this fella...

Some of you may have seen this one before.
A bit like a certain Lester in Candy Apple Red, it’s known to reappear on the Forum from time to time (sorry Darrell  ).

The ocean blue looks different depending on the angle and the lighting. The removable pickguard screams remove me. Why else would they do that, right?

The Manhattan midnight is my workhorse. The 2015 larger fretboard has a nice feel with my long fingers.

Hope you like the strap DarrellV !

My Pelham Blue Classic Deluxe when it got the mini-hum. I originally ordered cream parts, but they clashed with the white binding. I could go with white plastics, but was unable to find ones that fit, and also realized it would then be too close to the Bonabyrd, so I went back to black. The mini-humbucker in the bridge and the Creamtone multi-ply pickgard really unite the white binding with the black plastics.

The Allparts mini-hum ring required me to sand it down to fit.
