Those were very good sounding guitars!

The pups are a little hot for my personal taste but a lot of people like them.
Ceramic 496R and 500T.
Try to adjust your amp with the guitar volume at 7 or 8 and see how it sounds.
You can always go for more Vintage type pups.

P.S.: Tough to tell from the picture but these came with a "Classic" engraved truss rod cover.
Many changed it to a blank truss rod cover (I would...) for a more "Vintage" look.

They used to do the serial numbers like that in 1997? I didn’t know that. Looks like an R7 serial number. Crazy.

Lovely Up here in Canada there is a brand of soda crackers called PREMIUM PLUS gotta adjust my thinking from crackers to fiddles-gorgeous guitar!

It's supposed to have the original pups back in it which were 496/500 ceramics I believe.
