Les Paul Junior Special - 50s neck?

Hi Folks,
I'm hankering after a Junior special to keep my Junior company.
Gibson Guitar: Les Paul Junior Electric Guitars With Vintage Gibson Guitar Style, Online Guitar Info and Specs
My Junior is the model above from 2008. Has a lovely chunky rounded 50s neck.
Was there a Junior Special from the similar era with the 50s profile too? I cant seem to see one on the web site.
There are a few recent(ish) Jr Specials listed on the Gibby web site. but they all seem to be slim taper 60s.

I guess the answer is no 50s necks on recent lp spec jr gibbys, Apart from Vos or expensive stuff....

I've never tried a recent gibson with a neck that feels like a vintage neck. The custom shop stuff is always bigger than the real vintage ones. I feel that the "50s baseball bat" necks exist only in the minds of people who haven't tried too many vintage guitars

Just tried a New Les Paul Special TV yellow that had a great vintage 50's neck. I've been playing the wrong neck for a long time. Always wondered why guitar stores don't measure your hands like shoe stores measure your feet? Also I've considered getting new custom neck but there is no way to know what they might feel like if you order one online and very few variations to try at any local guitar shops.

got one of the 2020 epi specials in YV yellow about a month ago.for $379 you cant go wrong at least trying one.
