Hi there I was wondering what year the LP Custom start being built in the actually custom shop?

Thanks! I knew it was 03 or 04. Is it the general assumption that their quality is both better and more consistent since that happened?

I was not aware the Custom was ever made "on" the Custom Shop

There was really no change. It just gets a Custom Shop logo on the back of the headstock now so you can show everybody how cool you are.
