I posted this on the Historic and Reissue area, but thought I'd spread it around to get more opinions..
I'm a new guy here, though not new to the Les Paul line of guitars. I decided to upgrade from a Trad Pro (was everything I wanted) to my dream axe of 30 years. Below are the links, and while this purchase is the "site unseen" risk, I don't think I'll be unhappy.
What I'd like to know, is there anyone out there with any details or specs on this? I'm assuming they just took the Ace Budokan line and extended it to make some additional customs (use up bench stock??) Anyway, if anyone can provide details, especially the folks that are Norlin owners...since this looks like a Norlin era reissue.
Thank you all in advance!
Dan

I can't wait until they reissue the 1994 Les Paul Standard 1959 reissue. Or the 50th anniversary reissue of the 2009 50th anniversary Les Paul Standard 1959 reissue.

That actually looks cool... even though an actual Norlin can be cheaper :hmm:

No sign of those on Gibson.com - strange? Your theory may be a good one...if that's the case you might expect a pancake body.
