i think it looks dirty (and not in a good way). But that could mean she’s a player. Don’t know if you bought it or not but this needs some TLC

Custom Lite or modded Custom - Single bound, shallow body.
Could be a worthy purchase at the right price.

82/83 appointments like winding tuners and 11(?) position bridge. Cavity shield can. Fairly rough condition, which may mean it’s a good player.

Dirty and worn but I like it. If no breaks, and the price was right, I’d be tempted.

Someone shaved the back, removing the back binding and added a tummy cut.... according to the serial it’s an 1982..... predates the Custom Lites by 5 years..... as I mentioned in another thread about this same instrument, it’s heavily modified.

As a player I’m sure it’s a fine guitar.... but it has lost plenty of market value.

Good point... can see now that the strap button is offset toward the rear.
Yep... it's been shaved.
The top doesn't look to have much of an arch either, but that was one of the inconsistencies of that era.

I’d pass on it myself. I’d only be tempted if it was ~$400 and came with a case. Just my feeling if I were in a position to acquire this guitar.

Fine tuners on the tailstop ;)
Ya, tp6 tailpiece. The bridge is a schaller “no hole”. The bridge studs don’t go all the way through the bridge. I’m sure there’s a better description of it somewhere on mlp. :)
