Les paul classic light burst question

how is everyone?...I have been searching the threads for info on the lp classic "light burst" color...is this a rare color for the classic?...I think this color is similar to the eric clapton model and the '58 lp plain top vos, (I am refering to the gibson website photos)...we all know the pigment would fade in the original lp to something of a light burst color, (and other colors with varying degrees, of course)...tell me, am I way off base for thinking the light burst would be similar to a custom shop color?...I know, I should just pull the trigger and buy a custom shop guitar, but if I could find a classic in light burst, and it is similar to a custom shop color, I might consider the classic first...throw me any opinions you got...thanks, and I'll keep searching the threads...

here are a couple pics of a 2003 I found...if you feel like it, go to the gibson website and compare to the clapton, don felder, warren haynes, models and other customs to these pics...do you think the colors are close?...

I always thought a Light Burst did look like a faded 'Burst...somewhat close to what they call a Tangerine burst in BOTB...here's my '03 Light Burst :

2001 Lightburst. Although, the color changes constantly depending on the light. To me, it looks a lot lighter than it looks in this photo.

Agree on the 'light' affecting color change.
