I so much wanted to see a jazz player rock a historic;
I am practicing- trying a similar style to what Lee Ritenour is playing in those vids and the R9 is my dream guitar!!

So, thanks for posting!!

I thought that these guitars can cover this genre but know I am convinced I am on the right track!

Please PM me with any vids from similar style guitarists that play les pauls if it's not too much of a hassle.

Al the best,
Don't forget, Lee and Larry can play any genre with any guitar. To me though, neither looks right with a Les Paul. I've listened to both of these guys since the '70s and as a consequence, have always associated them with 335s and to a certain extent for Lee, an L-5.

Anyway, check out early Al DiMeola too when he used to play LPs. Now he's using PRS'.

On a side note, I'll be seeing Larry Carlton in February. Can't wait!

:cheers:

Nice , very Nice .:applause:
I concur. I had a few albums from Lee way back in the '80s but have not listened to him over the years. He certainly is a great player. :thumb: :applause:

:cheers:
