The Soyuz is a beast. I will never talk shit about a spacecraft that has been flying successfully for freakin' DECADES.

i'm not talking shit about it, just that Crew Dragon looks next level.

obviously Soyuz is a very successful craft, it saved three lives last year iirc.

Not directed at you, at all. Crew Dragon is the coolest thing to EVER fly in my book.

They slept seven hours?

I believe I would have to try to enjoy every damn minute of that experience.

They've both been in space before, the view never changes, and they are literally circling the block every 90 minutes.

If space travel ever becomes commercially viable for tourism, it will be more successful the way Virgin Galactic is planning, with short hops, perhaps one or two orbits.
At that point, it's still a "thrill ride" but doesn't sink into monotony.
More than that, and it starts to get like an ELO double album where you can't wait for it to be over.

The big prize is the trip around the moon that Elon wants to provide.

there isn't any way that i could willingly board a rocket.

my flat-lander ass almost lost it driving up Mt. Rainier.
I would love to experience lift off, TLI, LOI, landing, walking on the moon, TEI, and reentry.

It's the 8 days of drifting through space I would not be able to handle.
At least on a flight or a road trip, the scenery changes.
Flying to/from the moon is like spending a week driving through Kansas.
