I remember the KK Kraze a few years ago, they opened a KK in Brick NJ, and had to bring in Cops to contain the crowds and ensuing traffic mess. I don't think the cops minded the assignment as I have heard they were compensated nicely in boxes of donuts for their trouble.

Me- neither DD or KK. A carton of blueberries is my morning drug.

I am a lifelong Dunkin fan, but unfortunately they are not what they used to be. when the donuts were made on the premesis they were great, and the place smelled great. It's too bad those days are gone.

Donuts are now shipped frozen to the stores, thawed out and then assembled into their final "Flavor".

When KK first opened in Bangkok last year, the lines went down the block for the first few months. People would wait an hour to buy donuts.

I have to claim my status as an authority on this one. Dunkin, no doubt. It's cheap and kind of crappy, admittedly. But the coffee makes up for it.

Sorry, but that hot black acidic beverage that Dunkin's serves cannot properly be called "coffee".

Sure it can. It's hot and wakes you up. What more is needed? I don't go in for the fancy coffee. I order coffee like I order gas:

"Two bucks of regular, please."

I agree. I'm a bit of a coffee aficionado, and I'm just not sure what people see in it. It's just like folgers, so if that's your thing, you can get 2 pounds of the stuff at Safeway for the price of a cup at the donut shop.

Life is too short for ghetto coffee.
