I have a 1986 Baretta

I also have one of the 85' RI Baretta's & I recently acquired a 1983 Pacer Special

The Pacer Special is very 'special', the guy that last had it made his bread money with it in the 80's, it's a beast of a guitar! Probably my favorite guitar I own honestly!

Well, it's not THE grail, but it's close enough for me (JK1000 Japanese market model with a SD reverse zebra JB).

many player like the Floyd Rose
True dat! When wooden-necked Kramers exploded on the scene, we actually were in love with the Floyd. The quality of vintage Kramers was "all over the place". They changed suppliers at the drop of a hat and the company was fueled by...um...foreign substances.:slash: I got to visit the plant in the 80's and I know a few of the guys to this day.

Here's one in my shop right now....customer is trying to sell it.

Here's my Pacer.... bought it new in 83

But it was all stripped of hardware and in rough shape a up until a couple of months ago whenI decided to get it back to playing condition.

Here's the neck with new frets, a new logo decal and fresh nitro (still needs to be rubbed out) Thanks to xbolt for sending me a photo of his Kramer so I could see the location of the headstock decal.
