Not entirely new... had this for a little bit, just catching up on posts.
So here's the story.
For anyone who saw my first Korina R9 thread, well quite some time had passed and i get a call...not the seller of Korina #1 mind you, but a local bud that calls me when something cool comes along... bud says 'hey, let's meet for coffee' which usually results in me being overly caffeinated, and also having to hide a guitar from the wifey for a week or two while i sell something else off.
Coffee is hot, case latches pop... no prob... i am prepared... i am steeled... do NOT need another da*m guitar!... Well you all know what happened next.
Consecutive serial numbers sealed the deal... diff sellers, about a year apart and consecutive serials! I keep telling myself that one has to go... but just not there yet (and disclaimer... it's already spoken for when i do get there... sorry guys).
So i humbly introduce Korina R9... #2
So there it is, I hope you like it.
And here is #1 if you care to check that one out: http://www.mylespaul.com/forums/historics-reissues/276788-59-korina-lp-my-best-ngd-ever.html

- 6 Korina R9 Quilts made in 2008 (per my contact in the custom shop)
- 8lbs give or take an ounce
- When you hit a note, even very lightly, you feel it everywhere... neck, body... just really crazy how this wood picks up on the string vibration.
- Def les paul but acoustically extremely resonant, sustains for days.
So there it is, I hope you like it.
