Hi All

Question... I've got a LPS with amber speed knobs and i've got a SG with Black witch hat knobs (61 style)

I have a pair of 30* pointers and a pair os 90* pointers

My question is this....

The 90* go on the top hat/witch hat knobs

and

The 30* go on the speed knob??

I'm trying to get these as accurate as I can, I've searched for this spec but I can't seem to find it on the internet

Any opinions/or information would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in Advance

Pointer washers with speed knobs?

Are you insane?! :dunno:

Pretty much all of my guitars have pointers and speed knobs....

I'm also pretty sure ALL Les Pauls came stock like that up until around '55/'56.....

Seems 90 degree pointers with the speed knobs!

I didn't even know they had speed knobs back then..

Also, the OP is correct in his assumption that the 30 degree pointers work best for the witch hats.

Thanks a lot guys
This is an awesome web site

I wired all my guitars (gibson ones) 50's wiring a-la joneys' wiring schematic with the wire and braided wire, they are pretty sick

I wanted the pointers because the guitar on rythym works best at 7 and then I go full pot for lead and dial it back I like the vintage look as well

Thanks a lot for the help and advice

This is a really great forum

The desire for pointers has no need of justification.
