Traditionally in rape cases women's names are kept from public disclosure and I guess I understand this as there is humiliation involved with it. Similarly, this woman's name is kept secret assumingly for the same reason, however, the accused is surely humiliated by the assertion of what he has done. If I get beat up on the street i might also be humiliated but I don't think that my name would be kept private for the purpose of protecting my pride. Point being, if a sexual assault victim has done nothing wrong--and they haven't--there is no real shame to be borne.

I find it personally hard to believe that people just make up stuff such as this and are willing to go through all the steps of pressing charges or filing suit if it is untrue, however, their only risk is wasting some time and hoping their lawyer is willing to wait with them for his pay in the settlement. If they had to also risk their name being "sullied" in the process it might halt some frivolity. All this said, there are people out there praying to get in a fender bender so they can get a check for bodily injury. The woman is washing dishes for a living so chances are her financial circumstances are not the best.

I tend to believe the women in these circumstances but the situation has become pretty toxic. No one should have to put up with such and for we Regular Joes the notion that you just grab someone's pussy is pretty foreign in the first place. GS has always struck me as a guy obsessed with his clownish rock star image who is actually probably extremely bright and calculated.
