I wonder if it was this cop? The blue uniform looks familiar...

You know what one of the biggest problems is - some dick videos the event on their I Phone and sells it to a current affairs program. Current affairs program "creatively" edits the video they have bought from said dick. Shorts of the edited video are broadcast in a promo advert for tonights show claiming police brutallity. Ratings go through the roof for said current affairs show where the "brutalised" boys dad appears (no doubt paid too) telling us all what a good boy his little Johnny is.

Makes me fvckin' sick. They got what they deserved and watching the kids dad on the tv - well maybe the apple didn't fall too far from the tree ?

When was the last time i was brutalised by the Police - em - never.

Probably cause i don't drive my car into innocent people.

And these current affairs programs should be ashamed of themselves.

I remember a segment on a current affair (ozzie tv show) a while back about a family of 5 who according to the show were "forced to live in a tent in some relatives back yard" because of the government. Lot's of sad footage of the little kids doing the homework in the cluttered tent, long shots of mum & dad walking hand in hand along the beach (which they had probably never done before the show).
Basically a beat up about the government public housing department. Turns out that the family were not forced to do anything but had chosen not to accept the many houses the department had offered them due to being in the wrong part of town etc etc.

Complete liars. I try not to watch these shows.

Anyway - hope the victims of this are ok.

I'm sick of seeing these cars destroying lives. They just need to outlawed once and for all.

Because I am bored and a bit morbid, I totaled up the number of motor vehicle deaths in United States since 1899.

3.7 million.

For comparison, that is the size of Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue metro area or the size of Los Angeles (no metro, just city of).

A FUN FACT YOU LEARNED TODAY ON MLP!

The Cross is a cesspool of sleaze, whores and drugs. I always enjoyed myself there.

I thought the police in England didn't carry firearms. When did this change occur?

Some Police in the UK carry firearms, you just don't know which ones, unless they're carrying an MP5 accress their chest! They drive around in armed response vehicles.

people should understand-
in this day and age, if you run from the police-you will get caught.

its not just a "do-gooder" saying, ive seen enough episodes of COPS to know that, well you may be able to run out of their vision, but you cannot outrun radio waves, or a heli with a thermal imaging camera circling overhead.

honestly, anyone with INTELLIGENCE knows that its best to not even think about doing stupid shit like that. :dunno:

either some vigilante is gonna **** you up or your gonna get slammed by the po.po-it may be all weel and good in your world for a few brief seconds, but man, reality is gonna hit HARD.

Let me take a wild guess - They villified the victim, didn't they.

I wouldn't say they villified him, certainly not the public, but as the years rolled on the killer was set free and became a ..quote: 'An oppressed martyr'.

I wont say any more, but lets say this guy is walking around now and got more money out of it than the victims widow. He claims he was innocent and a load of lefty dickheads believe him. What they have never known is what he was convicted of prior to the murder..

If they knew the f*cking silly arseholes might change their minds.

Assistant Commissioner Mark Murdoch rejects suggestions police should have shot at tyres.

Only a fool would suggest that. The car would drop that much more on the pinned woman and instead of rolling over her she would get grinded into the pavement by the rims. I'm sure the ones who suggested to shoot out the tires were the criminal sympathizers.

Keerist! I could probably type for hours regarding shit like this. I have to refrain, as my boiling blood could probably lead me directly to the unemployment line. That being said, I'm glad the woman was saved.

Exactly. They've watched a few too many action movies, methinks.

More likely they would not have been able to blow out the tire on a moving vehicle and, gasp, possibly shot the innocent victim underneath the vehicle.

Why do you think these films are in my favourites...

Christ, it's lucky I don't live in America that's all I can say. I'd be popping of arseholes left right and center..:laugh2:

:applause::applause::applause:..

Brilliant . they should have blown his f*cking head off..
Of course now all the do gooders will come out the woodwork spouting on about human rights.. What about that womans rights?

My brother in law was an inspector in the MET when we lived in London and was on the scene of a very famous incident where a poiceman was killed.. ( I can't say where or when for obvious reasons ) .
In court the character who killed the officer was made out as some sort of local hero and off course, as the law states, you can't hear anything about whether he had previous convictions or not.
My brother in law couldn't say anything publicly but told my wife and I if people only knew what this guy had done in the past . ( He knew his previous convictions ) there would have been a public outcry to string the bastard up..
They still today talk about this character as if he were some poor hard done by victim of police brutality..

As Mr Bumble in Oliver Twist once said.. The law is an ass..

Uh, guys, that's only a movie. Cops are actually allowed to enter without a warrant if they think someone is being assaulted ... and evidence of other crimes found after said entry is usually admissible. At least here in CA.
