I had totally forgot about "Ruby" until this thread. I used to play that song on my D-35 so many years ago.

That's a shame. He was one of my first exposures to music around 69/70. I had a cool aunt (a lot younger than my mom), and she had KR and The FE albums, and Cream's Disraeli Gears, and a couple more that escape me....and at 11/12 I loved them all.
Ruby is a GREAT song.

I hate country music but I loved his songs growing up and he was a legend. Not to mention I’m betting he “Tuned in Tokyo“ with Dolly Parton a time or two which makes him a legend 2x in my book.
