Just thinking out loud about a build...

I've completed my first build, the Gremlin aka Toxicaster. It's inspired by a Kramer Baretta - one 'bucker, one volume, floyd rose.

So now I'm thinking... It'd be fun to build a guitar with a fixed bridge so I don't have to muck about with trem routes or any of that garbage.

It'd also be fun to build something chambered...not a semi-hollowbody, but chambered along the lines of a Cloud 9.

I'm still working on my skills, so I'm not ready to tackle a LP yet.

So... what if i were to make a chambered Warlock or Mockingbird? Cool body shapes, not something you typically see done in anything other than a solid body...

What do you guys think? Stupid idea or might be cool?

Why not? I think it would be cool and like you said working on the skills is very important that doing this build would help with "problem solving" before moving to more advanced. I have taken some steps back for problem solving and jig building.

wouldnt do the mock... if you chamber a mock, i bet it'll going to neck dive like a mutha!!!!
