For those of you on social network blackout, I'm reviewing a pretty awesome axe from Ibanez. Check out the Jake Bowen sig model

Locking tuners, a couple of pretty hot pickups, NO TONE KNOB (I love that, thank you Ibanez) and the most stable floyd I ever played. If you're looking for a mid priced (2499 street) shredder, this is a serious contender.

Interesting looking. No fret markers is weird for me. Maybe flip the headstock too. From the photo it looks like the pickups are very low. Can you get one with shiny paint??

BTW Joey, your jeans are ripped.

i'm no ibanez fanboy but i have owned a few in my day. have two as we speak. one i've had since '87'. It's the one guitar i could never part with. (So far).
Great looking axe you've got there! Good luck with it. Enjoy!

This lo pro edge trem is the best trem Ive played. Really effortless. Pups are low because string height is non existent and the first fret will buzz if you play with the wind blowing, its THAT close. So far, having a blast reviewing this one. Not sending it back to Ibanez, thats for sure.

Nice!! Real nice!! Not in the market but seeing one in a shop would compel me to pick it up and give it a go...

I love the look of giitars with no fret markers... unfortunately I need them.
I like the headstock too, looks like it belongs. Some reversed ones just look weird.

sweet guitar :thumb: just looked up some of the specs __ and I can see why you like it .

the features I like

16" radius fretboard ( the higher the radius , the better imho . try out a zero radius . several Vigier dealers in NYC . I promise that your pants will get tighter in 30 seconds :laugh2: )
jumbo frets
no tone knob __ +1
no fret markers . always gives the instrument a cleaner look , I think

could do without the Floyd Rose ( I'm not a dive bomber . . and don't play anything that would need extremes . more of a Bigsby person myself )

anyway . knowing your playing style , looks like you found a great match . sure you'll enjoy it for years to come . rock on :thumb:

I like the look of that one. I've always been a fan of Ibanez acoustic and electric.

Looks bad-ass. I'm not a floyd fan, but that looks like a stealth fighter. And, alas, they don't look like PAFS.......I like the reverse HS.
