Glad you're OK!

I hope this never happens to me because someone is getting shot if it does. And that's not something I relish the thought of doing...

I had a friend a long time ago who played French Horn in some symphony in NYC in the early 70s. He said he had been robbed or mugged several times. Once he was surrounded by three guys with switch blades and when they pulled them out one of the guys' knives did not open. The guy said, "Excuse me a second!" as he worked to get it open. I thought that was hilarious.

Glad your alright man! one of my good friends works at a liquor store and one night a few girls across the street from the 7/11 ran into his store screaming that there was a crazy guy trashing their store. He ran over there and confronted the guy. He showed us the video surveillance tape he recorded on his phone. He was running around the store and my buddy was chasing him around and pointing at the door and finally He attacked him and gave him a nice one to the face. My friend is about 6'5 and took a good swing back at him, knocked him right on his ass. He stumbled out and got in his car. About 30 minutes later the guy crashed his car and died, he was reported to be on all kinds of drugs ACID/COCAINE. My friend said he had the craziest demonic look in his eye. Im happy he didn't have a weapon.

Very scary, Izzy. You kept your wits about you while the malefactor lost the only one he had left. You are a survivor. That is very cool, Maynar!! Wow! On another note, have you turned your new Lester into the evil black rock machine yet, like I tol ya?

Those rings and pickguard are not cream colour, they're "Antique Cream." It was meant to be.

I will not anger the Gods of Guitar! :laugh2:

Holy moley! Glad you are ok.

I only get robbed by banks, but they don't use guns.

Some men rob you with a pen, some rob you with a gun.

Or something.

Glad you and everyone are alright. Nothing material is worth your life over. This guy won't make any list of smartest crooks that's for sure. I remember working my part time job at a local gun shop. One day when I got there the guys told me I missed all the excitement. I made them swear it wasn't a put on. There was a Royal Farm store directly across from our shop. It seems this guy in a hoody robs them telling them he is armed. The clerk does the smart thing and gives him the money and he runs off. They call the police and lots of cops show up including a K9 unit. Now this smart robber runs behind our shop takes off the hoody and walks up the street next to the gun shop past many homes to where he is living. The K9 officer searching the area behind the shop cause that was where he was reported seen last finds the hoody. Inside one of the pockets they find, yes, his drivers license and his address is the street next to the shop just a short ways up the street. So they just went to his residence and arrested him and his gun was a cheap BB gun that he never showed. On top of that his girlfriend told police she just bailed him out of jail a short few hours before the robbery. He robbed the Farm Store cause after bailing him out they didn't have the rent money. So I asked the guys, " they really found his hoody behind the shop with his license in the pocket." I went over to the Farm Store for a soda and chips or candy run and the police were still there. I just had to ask one of the cops about it. He asked me who I was and I told him I worked at the gun shop and was finding the story really unbelievable. He confirmed it and added that most criminals are stupid. This guy was a total idiot and the girlfriend should have paid the rent and left his dumb ass in jail. :laugh2:

The guy was off his face on cocaine, had a knife. Me and my colleagues are okay and the guy made off with nothing and was dumb enough to literally give me his driving license.

Police are on it and looking to make an arrest tonight. Apparently the guy had knifed someone in another store and did an armed robbery at another store.

I am so buzzed right now. I hope it never happens again. I am not scared of much, but armed robberies, people breaking into my house are top of the list.

Makes you wish you could carry a weapon legally in the UK? :hmm:

I know I am . Glad you and your friends are OK. Being made a victim is never a fun experience.

Thanks guys. The scary part was I was working with two girls. One 17, one 23 and I'm only 22 myself. I'm over six foot, but I'm built like a twig. If he started something I would give it my best but it would be pretty pathetic and awkward to watch me getting my ass handed to me :laugh2:
Anyway, I felt as though it was most duty to deal with this guy. The girls went out back while I stayed with him, trying to look confident, keeping eye contact etc... I may of looked confident, but believe me, I was crying on the inside :laugh2:

Steven Segall would have left him a quivering pile of goo and then played him a sick guitar solo. Glad you're ok.
