I was browsing around on Reverb the other day and stumbled across a nice looking Line6 wireless system on sale for $250 and semi local. I've always liked the idea but never really had a need so filed them in the back of my mind. Through Google-Spy-Magic, I saw a wireless guitar setup for a fraction of the cost on an Amazon ad so went looking and found the Joyo JW-03 set among a boatload of no-name weird setups. I got to reading reviews and most were terrible, but the Joyo were reviewed well so I went to Youtube to watch some videos.

Youtube reviews and presentations were decent so I decided to try them. It's from Amazon so I figured if it was shit, I could send it back and that would be that. Given that their pedals are decent (not garbage but not overly spectacular) and reviews were good, I had nothing to lose.

First impression is they are pretty damn nice! I only have a bit of time on them so far, but there's no discernable latency and the signal sounds as good as any cable I have. The price is on par with other Joyo stuff, super cheap; they cost me $54 CAD shipped to my door.

I don't need wireless, but for the price and the convenience when I get to testing pickups, it's nice not to have a cable in the way. I'll be keeping them.

Interesting. Been considering a wireless set up. Joyo makes decent stuff IMHO.

$33.99 + free shipping for an open box unit on ebay, can't pass that up.

From one geek to another, you may want to check this out, especially since you want to test pickups with it.

Impedance corrector. Made in Canada, eh? You guy's will get along fine! :laugh2:

I have one myself, bought it when I had a Jackson with stacked singles. Helped to fatten it up a bit.

So far so good. No noticeable latency or signal loss. I’m tempted to get another set for a wireless pedal board. A 90 degree plug would be great.

I'm using mine on the Yamaha Silent guitar into a Spark amp. It's dreamy!
