Hi LPC,
That's odd . Herbie has always been great to me.
When they did " Dream after Dream " . I called Herbie & asked for
a copy and he sent me Journeys personal Album . :hmm:

Try working for him.
I worked at Noturne Productions their video and lighting company.
Herbie called from the offices in SF to the shop in Oakland, he was looking for my boss. I answered the phone cause she wasn't there. I was very professional, but for some reason I didn't recognize his voice. He was very frustrated that my boss wasn't there, I asked to take a message and when I asked his name he went ballistic and fired me on the spot because I didn't recognize his voice.......great guy?
Neil Schon, however, is a GREAT man. He and I shared our love of Italian cars so we got along VERY well. Alot of his guitar collection was stored at our shop and he even offered me to borrow one if I wanted.
Conversley, I worked for FM Productions where Bill Graham and Tom Mendenhall are/were very nice men. Bill is truly missed.

HI Mark,
I'd consider that " Harsh " Maybe he didn't get laid :naughty:

I may know you. Do you now own your own company that transports
Lighting and Gear ? I think I called you from the Marriot when I was up in San Francisco about a year and a half ago.

HolySh!t man,

I looked at the photo and was like come on....:wtf::wtf:

Then I heard him sing:wtf:

Hey, its better than nothing.

I do agree, they need Steve Perry. Personally, I would not go out of my way to see them without Perry.

Why do I think that? Well Steve Perry sings Steve Perry, this guy can cover MANY different types. He seems to have a really good range on him.

Steve Perry is the voice of Journey. Period. They just want a guy who will do what they say and sound just like Steve Perry, at a fraction of the cost.

HEY I remember Vinnie Vincent before he was in Kiss, he was playing
the local LA club and concert circuit in the late 70s
i have a photo I took of him when we did a local concert with his band
it was a power trio, and he really kicked ass. Carmine Apice was his drummer!
(you can tell by his werid sideways right bass drum an old trick of Camines)
Never forget him because he had such a different sounding
singing voice. I dindnt find out for like 20 years that he went on to join
Kiss! to me he was just another local metal guy, but he was very rememberable
